LNA Landscape Excellence Awards
The brief centred around changing the whole front façade/street scape of the house. The clients wanted to create new access to their property, which involved removing the old driveway and adding a new driveway and entrance to the existing carport. They also wanted to add a separate entrance gate and pathway to the front door. The existing heritage carport was the only feature which remained.
It was quite a challenging start to the job due to the property being in both a heritage and conservation area which added to the complexity of the design. A significant part of the design was to cohesively connect with the existing natural features of the home. The sandstone entrance piers compliment beautifully with the heritage elements of home. The team is very proud of this project given the challenges faced throughout. This project has been recognised at the 2023 LNA Landscape Excellence Awards winning both Gold and Best in Category.
