Without a doubt one of our most loved projects to date, let us introduce you to this dream backyard in the upper north shore suburb of West Pennant Hills. The addition of a pool, covered alfresco area, and half-court basketball court were must-haves for our clients, a young family of five who had recently purchased the home.
The custom outdoor kitchen has everything the family needs to entertain outside. To the rear of the pool, built in bench seating is a clever use of space and a vertical feature screen (to hide pool equipment) is both a practical and striking backdrop.

We designed and constructed this landscape using a variety of natural materials including recycled hardwood posts, sandstone cladding and large format limestone tiling. The huge, covered pergola with gable roof detailing and multiple Velux skylights allow for an abundance of natural light to both the alfresco area and interior of the house, an important element to the design of this space. Another design feature are the twin stairs which lead up to the pool, lawn and basketball court, adding a sense of scale and wow factor to the outdoor area.
